Approximately 70% of England is now designated as a Nitrate Vulnerable Zone (NVZ) and from 1^st Jan 2009 anyone farming in an NVZ will need to implement a package of measures designed to promote best practice in the use of, and storage of, fertiliser and manure.

In order to help you comply with the new NVZ rules DEFRA have produced nine guidance leaflets which are available for download here.
